No cute title today – I wanted to take this audio log as an excuse to dump all my Fox Szn shit in one place. I have to assume this muse is resurfacing in my mind because of Drew’s band. Just a few minutes ago, I saw he posted some photos from recent shows. I also saw a licenses plate that said “Go Live” in the target parking lot this morning – though I’m sure it meant “live your life” type live, I read it as “we’ll do it live, fuck it!!”
[only semi related, but I watched a bit of Drew’s dexerto interview. He was gushing about a cooking youtuber who can no-script full, cohesive rants in one take. I thought, so there is a market for that! I know my skill isn’t there yet, but maybe one day.]
I found this very amazing hat at Walmart, actually a few days before Drew’s video. When I saw it, I just thought— “Ned. This is so Ned. If anyone could rock a Walmart baseball cap that says SUPPORT LIVE MUSIC, in a half ironic, half deeply sincere way, it’s that barefoot mother fucker. “I like that it’s embroidered, no stamp-on AI garbage like that JoJo Siwa cruise one. A Fox Szn cruise would go insane, right? But ever since 3drinkz’s kneecaps got blasted we’ve had to be more chill with the fan service stuff. We bring out the animal in people, what can I say? Nepotism is just gravy when you have my sort of lyrical genius. 😎.”
It’s been almost two years since the random revival. Time is fake, FUCK. Two years. I should give up hope by now. Yet somehow my brain spins Laura’s catchphrase about danny into copium — “I do not trust this man, he’s always up to something.” Never tell me how long it’s been, never tell me the odds.
